New G Pro Wireless

Coopermar

I have decided that I need a new mouse and have chosen the G Pro Wireless. I think it came out almost 2 years ago. I am worried that I am going to buy the mouse, and then two months later they are going to release the 2.0. Have there been any rumors about the next version? Should I be worried?

It's a mouse. If it suits your hand you just buy it. There hasn't been a revolution in the way we interact with PC's since the mouse has been invented decades ago. As long as the current G Pro suits you and you need a new mouse just go for it.

if a so called G Pro 2.0 comes out, i doubt you will feel the difference in performance. they will probably still stay with the HERO sensor since its already "that" good

I would not get that mouse because of the double clicking issues. You might want to try the viper ultimate instead

most GPW wont double click, if the GPW works for the OP, i dont see why he should choose the VU over the GPW.

Logitech has had a lot of problems and if his does double click, he either wasted 150 dollars, or has to replace the switches which is annoying. I have had the gpro wireless, and while it is nice, I wish i had bought the viper ultimate. It is just one of the tradeoffs though.

people have different experiences, you dont need to replace the switch, just ask for RMA (assuming it is available in your region)

Rma takes a long time so you might as well save yourself the time and trouble and get the viper ultimate or even the pwnage ultra custom

replacing it with a VU would lead you to spending another 150$, the pwnage brand is fairly new, we need more time to conclude its quality.

If he is deciding between the two then he should go for the viper, but if he already bought the g pro he might as well try it and see if there are any problems and go from there.

The razer has it's own handful of setbacks. Between synapse and not having true onboard profiles it is pretty much worthless if you use multiple machines.

as i said, if the GPW fits OP better, i dont see why he should go for the VU. shape is the most important factor here.
