looking for camera that can be accessed like a network device

I'm looking for a camera that can be wirelessly accessed from any computer using file explorer as if it were a network drive. I tried the Canon ELPH190IS, but the direct wifi connection is actually an application, except that application doesn't actually work anymore, except the replacement is to upload images to the canon cloud and then download them onto one specific PC -_-

 

Does anyone know of a camera with this functionality? Ideally it would be cheap as we are using it in a lab to take images of samples and not for anything professional. Thanks for any advice.
