VGA --> HDMI Cable

Hello,

 

Can anybody recommend a quality VGA to HDMI cable? The source is VGA and the output is HDMI to my monitor, this is very important to note, I do not want HDMI to VGA. High preference for an actual cable-style converter over the  rectangular monstrosities with pig-tailed HDMI connector attached.

VGA is an analog signal while HDMI is a digital one, and to convert from one to another you need an active converter, that's why they're often "rectangular monstrosities", since you need to house all of the circuits needed to translate the signals.

 

Anyway, I don't think that such a thing like you want exists, but I hope someone here knows better.

See my signature for the Guide to Display Cables/Adapters, and what can or cannot work. As igor said, you need an active converter. The logic required to do so cannot be fit in to a simple cable.
