Mobo gpu drivers

Mr. Confused

Sooo on the driver downloading website asks for which os I have and I have pro64 and the option says normal64 .... does it matter and if it does do I install the drivers

Just needs to be 32bit for 32bit and 64bit for 64bit, Windows Home/whatever doesn't matter.

In general most people prefer to grab their drivers from the chipset manufacturer and GPU manufacturer directly.. like Nvidia/AMD/Intel, but those are up to date.

 

Do you know how to bring up Device Manager ?  It will show any hardware components missing drivers.

So I download the chipset drivers from the msi page

In general the drivers from the manufacturers will be much better than the drivers included in Windows.  FYI.

 

Yeah get the chipset driver and the Intel management engine drivers for sure..

That link is for Windows 10.. if you have 7 or 8 you'll need to re-select the driver version.
