Hello everyone I am brand new to pc building I am doing some minor upgrades to a pc that I own. I have H61H2-AD motherboard and I am running a 2nd Gen i5 Quad Core cpu with 8GB of ram  and 250 SSD. I want to add a decent GPU for gaming but i am clueless as to which GPU would be compatible with my board and CPU. Any advice?

Thanks

Any GPU will be compatible. Which GPU makes sense and won't be bottlenecked too hard is another question. I'd say go for a RX580 at best.

Edit: Make sure your PSU will handle it first, like @Void Master mentioned.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Any PCIe GPU will work in your motherboard.

What is your budget ?

What model and wattage is your PSU ?

@Void Master You know I have not looked at my PSU is just the stock I will take a look at that later and get back to you on that thanks my budget somewhere like 140- 200. At some point I plan to upgrade to a better PC or even better build one from the grown up, but this is  where I stand for now.

Thanks again

Since your PSU has such a low wattage, the gtx 1650 GDDR6 is your best bet.
