Can anyone suggest a good motherboard for amd ryzen 5 3600? Now, that the new b550 are out I don’t mind waiting for them to become available to purchase.

Wifi and bluetooth would be nice to have. And, if you could recommend an asus strix one that would be awesome.

Budget: Around £200

Thanks

The MSI X570 Tomahawk is a better board than the Asus at that price point, but it is still hard to get hold of. I would see what B550 pricing is like first.

The cheapest ASUS Strix X570 board, which is the X570-F, usually goes for around 250 quid, so it doesn't really fit your budget.

I'd go for the MSI X570 Tomahawk or ASUS TUF X570-Plus.

I'm not really aware of any manufacturer's B550 lineup so I can't really recommend anything with that chipset atm, though most boards look quite good, it's just that afaik they're not priced too competitively compared to their X570 counterparts.

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

I have heard alot of problems with that board ( the tomhawk) specifically with the bios ( I could be wrong )

The tuf x570 would be a safer pick

Not seen any reports over on overclockers forum. Quite a few people already have the board up and running fine.

Yea the board is good

It's just I have seen some problems with it

Tho it most likely either was fixed or was Minor bugs or it didn't have to do with the board
