Gpu help plz i needs it

So ill turn on my computer and without doing anything after 5-10 minutes my gpu will stop outputting all video and i have no idea why

what are you doing when it blacks out? Does it do it idle at the desktop, does it only happen in games?

The system is idle but i decided to have a look inside and it smells like hot electronics even tho gpu and cpu heatsink are a little cold and the chipset is warm but not too warm

Im gonna try a different port on the card if it was a bad cable i wouldn't output video at all, if that doesnt work ill try to ddu the driver if the system lets me

I also pulled out the card to look for visual damage and nothing was wrong with it although i haven't pulled off the cooler 

 

This was a pretty shitty thing to wake up and see happen a 1 am

 

And when it first did this i restarted the system and it got stuck in a boot loop and windows update kinda pulled it out of it

Update of information

The card might be overheating because i looked inside and the fan is ramping up and getting stuck on something and and making werid noises

This could be the problem

But try ddu and a different port / cable non the less
