Help For a virtual machine

i just downloaded pop os for running it on virtualbox 

but when i downloaded it i am unable to find the iso instead it is a folder

Rufus doesn't make ISOs, it uses them.

You seem to have extracted the files from the ISO. Redownload it and don't extract the files.

Thanks I was thinking it is a .rar file and extracting it since winrar would open .iso by default

Keep a link to the ISO in a folder, as in the link to where it is on the computer. Makes it easy to find and if needed. Also keep an external drive of them if possible. These are tricks I learned when mastering VirtBox
