When I activate xmp and let my pc idle for about a minute I get a bluescreen showing an error message. Something like "windows ran into a problem" or so.

That doesn't happen when I disable it.

 

Could it be because xmp tries to overclock my CPU as well? It sets the base clock from 100MHz to about 102MHz.
