I am planning on either buying a new mouse or a new headset. Right now, I have 2013 astro a40s that still work fine. I also have a deathadder elite which I got just a few months ago. I am looking at either the g pro wireless or the pro x headset. I realize that it's likely all preference, but what would you do if you were in my shoes? What do you think will make the biggest difference in games?

It’s not though, I have a wired and wireless mouse and prefer the wired. Wireless mice are heavy, expensive and run out of charge at the worst of times.

its personal preference mate, if you still like wired then stay wired.

for me wireless is a lot better because i dont have to deal with the cable dragging my mouse all the time, and not all of them are heavy (the GPW isnt considered a heavy mouse anyway), personally okay with heavy mice as well. as for the battery, i always check the amount of charge that i have before i do something.

The G Pro Wireless is an 80g mouse. That is considered lightweight. And many professional players have been using Logitech wireless mice for years and the G Pro Wireless is particularly popular. So any concerns about latency or connection issues in environments with lots of wireless signals can be removed as many people will use these at LANs with no issues.

I would also recommend a new mouse as the a40s are pretty good and very comfortable

The G Pro Wireless, Razer Viper Ultimate are great options if money is not an issue.

Cheaper the G703 or even cheaper than that the G305 are also great options.
