Frank Herbert's Dune trilogy might be something for you. It is a sci-fi series, but it makes use of a lot of fantasy elements, tropes and thematics.

The same goes for C. S. Lewis' Space Trilogy. If you enjoyed the Narnia Chronicles, you will probably like the sci-fi books, as well.

Fiction:

Roadside Picnic (Eastern European book sci fi. STALKER is based on this.)
SlaughterHouse-Five (About fate & time & stuff. Good.)

Soldier Boys (5th grade level read, WW2 about an american soldier and a german soldier in their armies. 1/2 day read)

Fifteen Hours (Warhammer book about imperial guard. 1/2 day read.)

Metro 2033 (Russian book. I didn't read it but it seemed good from what I read of it. Games based on it)

Nonfiction:

War as I knew it (Book written by Patton how he saw war. Autobiography)
The War on Alcohol (Book about the prohibition, how it came, how it happened, what its effects were.)

Comics:
Star Wars Legends (About a Jedi during the Mandalorian Wars. Written by marvel. It's like reading a tv show. Easy read, nice pictures.)

Difficult reads I haven't read but heard are good:

The First Circle by Solsthyn

Anna Karina by Tolstoy

War and Peace by Tolstoy

Other decent books I heard of:

Lord of the Rings

water for elephants

Song of Fire and Ice (Game of Thrones)

The Quoran/The Bible/The Torah (Supposedly The Quoran contains the bible & the bible's "old testimate" or first half of the book is just The Torah.)

The Necronomicon or the works of HP Lovecraft.

Greek Mythology

The Republic by Plato

The Prince by Machiavelli

The Social Contract by some french dude

I think PewDiePie has some book club videos or something as well.
