around £100 (im in the uk so sorry if you can help)

Going by prices on PCPartPicker, you can get a Corsair RM550x for 87 quid or a be quiet! Straight Power 11 550W for 99 quid.

You could spend less obviously, but if you have the money I'd go for either of the two units above. You never want to skimp on the power supply and heck in the long run this could save you some money, as a really high-end PSU could last you multiple upgrade cycles (depending on how often you upgrade your PC).

If you're interested in looking up some other options, you can check the forum's PSU tier list here:

unless you want to overclock heavily you won't need the 4 pin

For my build i am using a ryzen 5 3600 and an rtx 2060. My mobo is a msi x570 a pro. Please can someone tell me a powersupply which has the extra atx 4 pin for the cpu and the correct amount of pins for the graphics card.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

a corsair cx550m should do, if you want one thats pocket friendly. the 4 pin is unnecessary for regular usage, but if you do want to utilise it the modular option should fare well

😕

You don't need the extra 4-pin unless you're subzero overclocking, which you won't be with that motherboard. On that note, if you haven't purchased it already, I'd suggest getting a different board as that one offers very subpar VRMs for an X570 board.

Anyway, what's your budget for the PSU?

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Peripherals: Leopold FC660C w/ Topre Silent 45g | Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed | HIFIMAN HE400se & iFi ZEN DAC | Audio-Technica AT2020USB+

Display: Gigabyte G34WQC

most psus (including this one) come with a pcie 8 pin connector. since you got a 2060, this one should do
