XBOX Emulator

I was looking around the internet for emulating xbox games. (Original Xbox) I encountered a weird emulator called CXBX. I downloaded a few games and went testing games. (I have already some emulators. Project 64, PCSX 1 and 2, Dosbox. etc...) But and this is a big BUT Cxbx is weird because when I tried to start a game windows defender flagged that it is a virus. I was wondering are there any other XBOX Emulators than CXBX.

Cxbx Reloaded isn't a virus; if you downloaded it from an official download, it should be perfectly fine. That being said, original Xbox emulation really isn't what it should be right now.

Gives you a list of multiple emulators for each consoles, so don't just google them to find random websites that claim to have a working emulator. If it's not on the Wiki, it's fake.

 

CXBX is a legitimate emulator though, but hasn't seen much development for a while now, just like the others. If you were using the original fork of CXBX, you might want to give CXBX Reloaded a look.

AFAIK Xbox Emulators don't see the love that Nintendo emulators get & most are hardly functional if at all.
