Is the GTX 780 worth is over the 770? I will be playing all of the most graphically intensive games (BF4, Metro Last Light, Crysis 3, etc.) on a 1080p monitor with everything maxed (I realize both will do it to an extent). I also  want this computer to last me as long as possible!

Here are the builds(take in account the price difference):

On some very demanding titles, with everything maxed out, the GTX 770 can't an average of 60 fps on 1080p (e.g. Crysis 3).

The GTX 780 has more performance, more VRAM, and will last longer before you need to upgrade.

Alright I guess ill go with that. The funny part is that when I decided to build a computer I was planning on getting a 270x, and then a 760, and then a 770, and then a 780 haha might as well get a titan black now huh?

Yea i know that would be better for the money, i was just kidding. I'm already above my budget haha

Yeah, just hypothetically speaking if you wanted to get a Titan Black, I would have suggested 780ti. :)

It happens a lot, you end up spending more than what you originally planned. But if you don't have anything to regret later, then is worth it. A GTX 780 still offers plenty of value compared to the GTX 780 ti, which is expensive if you consider it's only a bit better than the 780.
