I believe only the HTC Vive/Vive Pro and Valve Index support Linux out of the box, and only when using Steam. Just know that Linux VR isn't fantastic right now, some games will have weird issues, or just won't run, and I have no idea if the game you have in mind is one of them.

For more info on it, check out this gitlab project:

Either one, the normal one is cheaper, the pro has a slightly higher resolution and cameras, pick your poison.

Your PC shouldn't bottleneck the headset. However, you might run into problems trying to run the headset using the p104 displaying through the iGPU, I genuinely don't know if that will work. I think it would, but I also wouldn't be surprised if it didn't or caused problems.

Well, the gpu has an hdmi port, but i'd need a bracket where its exposed. looked around, and the screw locations are diffrent. not sure if the port works or not. if it does, will that be enough to fix the vr?

Like I said, not a clue. It's also totally possible that the video outputs are disabled via the card's BIOS.
