Budget (including currency): 1,000usd

Country: usa

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Farcry 5, Warzone, Apex Legends, etc...

Other details Will these parts work together? Or is there one that's way over powered that I could cut down to save a bit of coin? I want unquestionable performance without overclocking.

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 6core (which comes with) B450-F Motherboard.     GeForce GTX 1660 Super graphics.     Corsair TX550M 550W, 80+ Gold psu.     Samsung 970 EVO SSD 500GB - M.2.

G.Skill TridentZ 32gb (2 x 16gb) RAM

I'm also looking at the Sceptre 30" 21:9 2560x1080p 200Hz Monitor but am still hunting for something better for cheaper.

Thanks for your help!

If you're trying to cheap out on a monitor why go with 32GB RAM? 16GB will be enough for most people and a nice monitor will give you much more in return. I'd not suggest an ultrawide as your GPU will struggle to keep up with the resolution uplift in AAA games. You might not be able to get 60 fps in all games you want to play.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

I would go to 16 gb on the ram and get a better gpu like a 2060.

Hi, welcome to the forum! @Stahlmann98 that was pretty close, pretty much went the same route lmao. I left the 500GB SSD but upped to a WD black for $4 more, the crucials good but the WD Black is bit better for a little more. I also added a 2TB HDD. A 500GB Nvme for Windows and a couple games, and everything else can go on the 2TB. PC part picking the parts OP, that you listed were much farther over budget than the two we listed, what is your budget for the monitor or does it need to be included with the PCs budget of $1000?

Thanks for your help yall! No, the monitor doesn't need to be included in the budget but I'm curious what the best resolution I can get will be for that graphics card? Should I stick to a 1080p in favor of better frame rates? Or can I safely up it to 1440 at 144Hz without overwhelming my gpu?
