Hello guys! I've already said this here in the forum a few moths ago but it started again...

I built a new PC around 7/8 months ago and 3 days ago it started stuttering again like it did a few months ago (was like a few millisecond frame drop, but constant and not only in games, it also happens while not doing anything).

My Setup:

Motherboard: MSI Prestige X570 Creation
Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
Graphic Card: MSI Gaming Z Nvidia RTX 2070
RAM: 4x8GB G-skill Trident Z 3600hz CL16
SSD 1: 500GB SSD Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 NVMe
SSD 2: 1TB SSD Samsung 860 Evo SATA

*My hardware isn't overclocked.

What I tried so far:

- Checked latency with some programs, and from what i've seen (or at least what I thought I understood) was that the latency was way higher (even if it was constant) than what I searched in forums;

- Reinstalled/Updated some drivers (according to other threads, but nothing);

- Updated BIOS (according to other threads, but nothing);

- Reinstalled Windows (this seems to fix the problem, but temporarly);

- Disconected all USB cables (according to other threads, but nothing);

- Looked if any hardware was under heavy load (according to other threads, but all always under 50%);

- Ran a SSD speed test (according to other threads, but all stable and acording to the SSD's speeds);

- Set PC to highest performance (Ryzen High Performance preset) in Windows Settings (according to other threads, but nothing).

Useful info and interesting facts:

- When I stop the process "MSI.CentralServer", which is started for the MSI Creation Center, the stuttering usually stops;

- When the stuttering is happening, the computer doesn't turn off (it keeps stucked on the "Shutting Down" screen with the spinnet);

- Some times (well, most of the times), my RAM doesn't appear on the MSI Mystic Light program (included in the MSI Creation Center), and the rainbow lights on them aren't aligned (2 of them are slightly faster than the other 2);

What are my toughts:

- RAM speeds, since the recommended for the CPU is 3200 and the ones i got are 3600, and maybe that could affect this;

- Latency, since it was what I thought was more interesting from the results of the above tests.

I hope somebody could help me and I think I didn't forgot anything, but if I did, please ask me. :)

Thank you guys! :)

I've made a really nice performance tweaks and latency improvements in my github.. you can check it out if you want.

See if these will make you lag less.

These 2 should tell you all you need to know. There's some process that is doing something that's making ur pc stutter en unable to shutdown.

Start by uninstalling the MSI stuff en check if the stutter returns. If it does just keep uninstalling software until you find the one that's causing the problem. When you've found it you can start to look for a solution.

Do you have XMP enabled?

Nop, and after a test result from CPU-Z i found this about the RAM: https://valid.x86.fr/4qlzbt

Shouldn't I set the RAM to its maximum capacity? I guess it is running at 3200 instead of the 3600 that it is capable of.

Any luck? I’m currently encountering the same issues, and working with DriverEasy Pro Tech Support. I’ve been upgraded to management because they were unsure what to do!
