Can you tell me the size of this insert.

How should I know what size you need? You're the one who has to know what size you need. There are a billion different sizes of them!

It's hard to know the exact size and thread pitch of the insert from a picture.

It doesn't even matter what the size is in the picture. All that matters is the size of the screws the OP is planning to use. There is no technical reason why OP would have to use the exact, specific size in the picture -- as long as the screws one plans to use match the size of the inserts and the inserts aren't too big to splinter the wood, that's all that's needed.
