Hello. I just installed a gtx 770 with a 430 watt EVGA power supply. I used a dual Molex to 8-pin pcie adapter for the second 8 pin pcie power for this card. It booted to windows fine and I installed drivers and began running heaven benchmark. Almost immediately it crashed and the screen turned black. When I tried to turn it back on, there was no display and the graphics card fans were running full blast. I tried swapping the psu for a 500w but it still is not displaying video. Any help?

Oh I forgot to mention I removed the card and used the integrated graphics and they worked fine.

It looks like you killed your card....

Using molex to power a GPU is really risky and not recommended, and also an EVGA 430W is not a decent PSU by any means.

So guess that GTX 770 (which consumes a lot of power), was fed with dirty power which killed the VRMs.
