Switching from 4th gen intel i3 4130 to New AMD Ryzen 1600, Need Windows suggestions

So i am switching from my Intel system to an AMD Ryzen processor, and i was wondering what i should do to install windows... Can i keep my older Windows in its own partition and when installing it again format and delete the older recovery and other small partitions, so that it installs them fresh, and just keep the data from my old windows in the earlier partition ? OR do i need to move my data to another Hard drive, so that my current windows doesnt interfere with the new one ill be installing ? Would that still be a problem if it makes the tiny partitions fresh in the new installation ?

It's best to back up your data, wipe the hard disk and install Windows fresh. It's a complete platform swap, so the chance of Windows working without major issues is minimal.
