So hello guys and everyone that's seeing this post.Basically long story short i was playing apex legends and my screen went black for 1 second and came back on so i got kinda scared and now im making this post.Sadly i can say that this has happend in the past it happend once on gta 5 like 2-3 weeks ago and on modern warfare 2 weeks ago.Now this happend when my game was at 97% done but it was playable so idk if it happend because the game finished installing or there is a hidden reason behind it.I made a post on this and some people told me to change my hdmi cable but i don't have another one and i'm insanely lazy to go to a store since it's 20 mins away with a car.Has this happend to some of y'all? Like your monitor just goes black once in a while?

Yes it happens to me all the time when my eyes get dry, a friend who studies medicine said it's normal.

Joking aside, @TofuHaroto I don't think specs or temps are relevant here right now. I would start with that new HDMi cable, but looking at this nickname I kind of feel this is a setup.

If i physically get annoyed and done with it if it happens one more time i might go and buy a new HDMI cable

When it happens, does your monitor say something like "No HDMI detected"? Usually when the monitor looses the connection it gives you a warning. If it doesn't it might be either a screen or GPU related issue. Before buying a cable make sure you connect it to a different port on your PC. Maybe the Monitor has a loose power cable?

Hey so i just realized a month ago i think i made a post about some weird audio thing i got and a guy told me to use tdr manipulator and disable this option  that said this.So i did

Well from the infromation you provided in the post I can only think of these possibilites

1. Damaged HDMI cable

2. Damaged Power cable of the monitor

3. Driver issue, but usually when there is one Windows will notify you that the graphics driver has crashed and been reinitialized.

I doubt it's some kind of OC/frequency instability issue, since they would most likely result in Blue Screens and complete system interuptions. If it was an XMP problem you wouldn't be able to continue your game normally after the screen went black.

I can't see how this could be relevant here since Timeout detection recovery only is the time how long your gpu waits for a frozen program to recover. But a frozen program wouldn't appear as a screen blackout

It's actually weird since i used DDU back in may 6th and i installed a new driver and the whole thing started happening may 26th so it could have been the driver but i used ddu like 5 mins ago so i'll see how that goes tbh

Correlation does not equal causation. Usually the best solution is the easiest one. I would start with those cables first before going into further speculation.

It's like when someone complains that the AC in their car doesn't work, but before you ask what type of car they have, and when was the last time they had a car checkup you tell them to make sure they have their windows closed.
