So i posted this earlier on a different sub-forum and they helped me change the parts into above.

So is this good for streaming/gaming? Im still trying to get a final answer because I'll start ordering the parts after new NVIDIA gpu gets released and amd cpus (so everything goes cheaper)

That is an ideal well balanced game/stream machine at a reasonable price IMO.  Could consider saving a buck by going with a B450, but its a good build regardless.

To you, right now. Sure

It might if in the future he decides to connect some new graphics card, ultra fast storage and USB 4.0 expansion card. If he does some streaming it's not hard to imagine he might want to do some video editing aswell and in that case it might be benefitial for him.

My point is, it's his money. Only he knows what is worth it for him, and what possible usecase he has right now/will have in the future. I said "might be a good idea" because I don´t currently own a cristal ball or a mind reading device.

b450 will support up to zen 3

b550 will support zen 3

zen 4 will not be on pga 1331  so you cant even do that

if you can wait get b550 if you cant and you are in a dire situation get b450

I honestly dont mind waiting, not in a rush- Not going to buy parts rn knowing theres new amd cpus/gpus and new nvidia stuff coming out soon. So the current stuff will be cheaper than what it is right now. Will the b550 be the same price as b450 mobos? or will it be expensive as x570

It will be slightly more expensive not like x570 tho

thats fine then, x570 is really expensive and the b540 is actually really cheap from brands like MSI.

I'm guessing the price of rtx 2070s will go down OR shall I wait for the new series to come out and get something around the same price as an rtx 2070s from the new series?

We can't really tell since Pascal prices didn't drop a bit and we don't know if that will happen with Turing

Hard to tell if they will drop a lot, would depend on the response from AMD gpus (which is what put pressure on team green to even do the super launch and bring down prices).

I am hopeful (fingers crossed) that they give a better performance increase compared to the 10xx to 20xx series transition, which was one of the worst in terms of performance gained and cost.

A 3060 might be a beast of a GPU that would be a better bet in terms of cost than the 2070S, but who the hell knows what will actually happen with the launch.

If a 3080ti is available for 1000 bucks I might s*** a brick

If the 3080ti has better performance than rtx 2080ti and the gtx 1080 it'll prob be over $1000
