My PC works fine when I am using it but as soon as I load any AAA game that has half decent realistic looking graphics my PC will crash and instant shutdown without windows and turn off no BSOD or anything relating to windows it just instantly turns off (the game with the worst graphics that I have this issue with is CS:GO) and after this happens I can't even start up my PC as if I press the power button it will turn on the whole PC but not show anything on the screen and the post LED doesn;t turn green when I turn it on and the only fix I have is to drain all the power in the motherboard and GPU by having to either disconnect the PSU or turn off the switch on the back of it and wait till the motherboard and GPU post LED's turn off to signify no power is flowing through the system (I am not talking about RGB LED's I am on about the tiny ones that show that the motherboard and GPU have power going in to them and show if the PC is on or off but still receiving power and they are usually supposed to turn green for a couple of seconds when the PC posts)) then as soon as the power is drained I am able to turn it back on also another thing I notice is when the PC crashes all LED's on peripherals such as keyboard lighting is usually off when this problem happens but when the PC is off normally then I don't have this issue as my keyboard lights up when the PC is off and is supposed to light up when the PC is off but there is power going in to the PC but when the PC crashes the keyboard doesn't light up (Its a Corsair K70 RGB Rapidfire with Cherry MX Speed switches and I usually have the LED's off under normal use anyway but when I am not logged in to my PC the LED's are supposed to be on by default) its as if anything plugged in to the PC doesn't recieve any power which it is supposed to do as I could before charge my phone off the USB ports on my PC even when the PC was off

The main important specs

1) CPU - Intel Core i7 7700K

2) MOBO - Asus ROG Strix Z270H

3) GPU - Asus ROG AMD Radeon RX480 8GB

4) PSU - Corsair RM850x

Aaa means big graphics and big memory use.  I might check the memory and if that fails the gpu (memory is cheaper and easier to check)

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

It even happens with CS:GO and that game is not even intensive I can easily get like 200 FPS on that at 1080p

and I can't really check memory usage or anything like that easily unless there is a way of keeping logs on CPU/GPU/RAM usage and it is on a program that saves it automatically as the PC instantly shuts down as if someone pulled the power cord and plugged it back in immediately
