I would see if you could acquire one of those plastic inserts the CPU comes in. Just go to a local computer store and see if they have one, if they build computers often like we do, they usually have a bunch lying around from when you salvage computers. Worth a try. I wouldn't ship it in a bare anti-static bag. If i was the buyer i would honestly be ready to shoot you if you shipped it like that.

Yikes. See if you can get like a wedding-ring box perhaps? Or some sort of jewellery box wight he padding and such. I mean it won't hurt the CPU to ship it in a Anti-Static bag, I mean i've done it before. However it might piss off the guy you sold it to.

I use the plastic container thing CPUs come with personally then put in a bubble wrapped envelope.

that should be fine. Just make sure you sandwich the cpu between two pieces of soft foam for shipping and you should be fine.

At least have a box where the CPU in this bag can stay in with some kind of tension so it doesnt move around. Since this is an Intel CPU and has no pins any Plastic casing big enough will do. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LOT-3X-CPU-CLAMSHELL-FOR-LGA775-LGA1150-LGA1155-LGA1156-ORIGINAL-ONE-X1A-/271411304549?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f315fd865
