try setting that setting to auto so the opposite of what this guy is doing

So, I just did it, it was on "Auto", but I changed the frequency to 3200 as @Jurrio suggested and I'll give updates..

Hmm its probably not a ram issue if it was not oc'd to start with but it could be.

 

you can try downloading this get it on a usb drive and boot from it

https://www.memtest86.com/

 

then leave it to run overnight or something. this will check if your ram has any errors.

It's been running fine so far, thank you for the help and I'll reach out if there's something else or it continues to crash on me!

I did that, it didn't find anything, I found some youtube videos with exactly the same problems and some people say they fixed it by seating the PCle cables because the 8 pin (6+2) that goes in the card, those 2 pins slip and it caused the issue, but it wasn't the fix for me. Then I found a guy who said to change the thermal paste of the GPU and as I said I'm scared of doing anything like that because I'm new to these things and I have absolutely no clue how, what, when and where with these things..

nah its its blackscreen restarts issue its cant be gpu. I reckon its mobo. did you build the pc? try contact where you bought the parts from

Sorry but what's mobo and I'm trying to but I'm on hold for 35 minutes now..and also yes, I did build the PC

My last PSU died so I had to change it, also used the moment to upgrade it, went from 650 to 750.

thats same one i have rmx are normally solid but if this issue only started happening when you got this psu and it was fine with the one before (apart from the fact it stopped working but thats a different issue) it might be a psu issue. contact the place you bought this from.

I don't know man, I took a break from it because I was getting really frustrated and now I'm just sitting here without a clue what else to do, I don't believe it's anything broken or atleast I don't want to believe it is, I really just hope it's some issue I'm too stupid to fix and someone shines the light on me

If it wasn't crashing EXACTLY like this BEFORE you changed the PSU, then the PSU is your ISSUE

to reiterate my last post:

 

If it wasn't crashing EXACTLY like this BEFORE you changed the PSU, then the PSU is your ISSUE

 

which one of your two statements is true? If the first is true and second false i reckon its ram, if the first is false the second true and my statement above true the psu is dodgy get it rma'd and replaced.
