So yesterday i was able to get my ACER AL1916W to display my xbox 1 x with a DVI to HDMI adapter and it worked perfectly fine but it didnt have audio which is fine bc i can just use headphones. But the problem that i kept running into is that if i wanted to use my computer, i would have to unplug the HDMI from my xbox 1 x and into my computer. Is there a way that i could plug my DVI adapter to HDMI to a HDMI hub so i could just switch it from there instead of having to constantly unplug and replug the HDMI cord everytime i wanted to use one or the other. Sorry making it seem more complicated than it needs to be.

Yes it is possible, I am using the switch below:
https://www.amazon.com/Fosmon-Bi-Directional-Passthrough-Satellite-Playstation/dp/B00LFX1UDM

There are other option like more HDMI ports and remote control, this is just what I went with.

My concern is that i have monitor and a tv connected to my pc, would it still work if i only changed the DVI to HDMI connected to my monitor from my computer to my xbox and vis versa?

Would something like this work to get audio from my monitor to my xbox? https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Video-Converter-Audio-DVI2HDMIA/dp/B005G3VQ5E

That depends on if the DVI to HDMI cable you have supports audio, as well as the graphics card.

I dont have a DVI to HDMI cable i have a DVI to HDMI adapter for my xbox. My computer audio goes through my tv when there both connected to my pc at the same time anyways so its fine.
