(FIXED) URGENT HELP! No audio/wifi after mobo change

Hi everyone!

 

I have just replaced my intel motherboard Z390 ACE with the AMD motherboard X570 Gaming Pro Carbon Wifi with R7 3700X.

 

However, my sound is not working, and when I installed the antenna that came packaged with the motherboard, there is also no wifi!

 

I tried reinstaling Realtek Audio Driver with no avail, and now my PC is now without sound or wifi.

 

Any help on fixing this issue?

Help deeply appreciated!

If you changed your platform, especially switched from Intel to Ryzen it's a good idea to reinstall Windows.

I have replaced my motherboard once before sometime ago, and I didn't have to reinstall Windows. I've been using Intel for a long timeright until today.

I am not telling you need to do it, but it's a good idea to when switching the platform to a different brand. Otherwise certain features will not work and you most probably will experience instability.

Refresh windows(10 only) function is probably the best right now, can purge all programs and drivers while keeping personal files...

You don't need to but when switching platfroms its best. as there can be drivers and stuff that can fuck up

From uefi to uefi its normally fine but this is probably just a driver crashing issue so refresh will fix it. :)

or you could use a ethernet cable and download all the drivers from msi website. my msi meg x570 ace wifi isn't working after windows install. maybe microsoft still doesn't have the driver for the motherboards in the windows installer?idk...

 

mine wifi works after installing the driver manually. and i install dragon center to update everything else. like amd chipset,audio,etc.

It’s not just the audio and WiFi. My iTunes, Dragon Center, and Nahimic audio was corrupted after I switched the platform. The best hope is to refresh my windows.

It’s not just the audio and WiFi. My iTunes, Dragon Center, and Nahimic audio was corrupted after I switched the platform. The best hope is to refresh my windows. 

lol...just do a fresh windows...=x...your old intel drivers should be the problem...oh backup your stuff before that...
