Is making a usb drive bootable same as extracting the image file in the usb ?

Hello guys ,

I was trying to make my pc a hackintosh . I tried to paste the files extracted from mojave dmg file into the usb drive but clover is not showing any installer . Does doing that with a software is different ?

It's more than copying the files. How it's made bootable depends on the software you use and the what the files are.

Got you ,

I don't have access to a MAC ,

I tries a few but every software supports different type of compressed images . I have Mac Mojave . Installed clover on a partition . Trans Mac is not making EFI partition . Any software recommendation ?

I think you have to have access to a Mac. I've never made a Hackintosh though.
