So, this may sound like a weird question, but I need a small screen for a project that I'm working on with my RPi (Model 3 B+ iirc) Requirements are as follows:

<= 1.5" diagonal

>= 360p

compatible with Raspberry Pi over HDMI or DSI (Pi Hat connector)

color and backlit (no e-ink)

I need this for a project where I'm trying to make a pair of smart glasses with a built-in camera so that I can zoom in on things. I know that this sounds like I'm some sort of creep who wants to peek at people's stuff, but hear me out. I have uncorrectable low vision, and I want something more compact (and cooler) than a traditional telescope-style magnifier.

There are plenty of small displays but not at the resolution you want. Also at that size the'yll typically be either SPI or parallel RGB, not HDMI/DSI.

And unless your vision is good at really really short distances just a display won't work without lenses/projection like on usual smart glasses.
