So one my main machine that I use to work and gaming  had sound issue on one video cards.  Then I put USB card in it that allow me to push each usb port into the machine. The card has 4 USB port. This machine also has two GPU's on it. One the GPU is Nvidia Super 2070(EVGA)  and the other GPU is AMD RX 480(XFX 8gb). So the Nvidia card once I hid the image was virtualized works wonderful. However AMD RX 480 had issue with sound dropping every once in while.  So this machine has two main images. One image is the Gaming image which is connected to 2070 Super that image has never had any issue. That image was meant to be gaming image. However I was asked upscale some content from 480p to 1080.  The program that use to do can use cuda to do that.  As far this application trans-coding 2070 super is second fasted card in my house. My VR rig is the fastest. which runs Gigabyte 1080 Extreme ( extreme stand for water cooling).  Before anyone comment I have down bunch of bench-marking and my 2070 super perform dead center any 3dmarks benchmark that I though at it. Compared to other 2070 Super, My 1080 card back in day performed top of the stack at one point it was 52 place in 3dmark timespy(It might be slight overclocked).

Get back to what actually posted this for is the other image is meant for more work stuff(remoting into machine) ,browsing the web, some video content while work or do gaming. This is the image that had the sound problem. This bugged me so. Every once in while the sound would drop out the image. It usually accorded somewhere around 4-6 hours. It did not matter if was being used. So the image was actually up.  This had been issue since built the machine. This machine has never natively run Windows 10. I tired lot of things to try fix it none of worked to fix.  I knew that issue had be something with the video card as 2070 super never had that issue. Even when assigned the card to the image that ran image that was meant for AMD rx480. I did not want place that video card as really for work load that I was going present to it should work wonderfully. However Until Last week MSI dropped beta bios that fixed sound issues for AMD RX480. For the most part I figure my AMD RX 480 is really similar to RX 570. The bios patch fixed the issue.  I guess I no longer have reason to replace that card when new graphic card get released later this year. For most part I would figured that I share this.

The spec of the system  I talked about in this post are CPU AMD 3950x(OC to 4.3 GHZ all core) , Mainboard MSI PRESTIGE X570 CREATION(10GB Lan that is support in ESXI 6.7 or better), GPU EVGA 2070 Super and XFX RX 480, RAM 64GB  trident Royal DDR 3600, 2 1TB Sabrient gen 4,2 x samsung  960 evo 1tb ssd, 3 tb HDD, Usb card that support passthough,Case NXT H710,Power Supply Seasonic 800w  and Cpu cooling Corsiar h115i.

What I could use some help is new computer case that has better airflow then NXT h710.  Temps are can get very warm when doing video process and gaming on the other card.
