Cannot Eject a USB3 External HD

Hey Guys,

So I am having this issue with USB3 HD's that I cannot safely eject them from the PC.

I have searched the net but have not found any solution that works.

SPECS:

R7 2700X

ASUS X470 Pro

64 GB RAM

Win 10 X64 1909 Build 18363.836

 

I can eject thumb drives smaller than 64GB, but anything over that, Pops the error that the drive cannot be ejected as some application is using it.

Don't bother safely ejecting it, as log as you arn't doing anything with it it should be fine.

Yikes lol I never do that I just rip mine out all the time they still work lol

Just pulling out the USB HD is not a good idea specially if you are using it to backup stuff....So I am still waiting for the wise men to speak on this issue...
