First time building a pc

Just asking but how was your experience in making your first pc? What was the hardest part and what was the easiest part? What were you most concerned about and did the end result come out as you expected? Was it easier or harder than you thought?

I spent around a year or so watching pc build videos since i couldnt afford a pc yet. after i built my first PC i put in the F-Panel wrongly and i diagnosed everything except that so i kinda messed up there xD. It did come out as expected tho and it was a lot easier then expected

Frustrating

Neither was easiest or hardest.

It took me three builds to finally get it right.

Harder.

Disclaimer: my first build was 25 years ago so everything was harder then. Today its all so much easier.

Also, I didn't have YouTube to get help from, it wasn't around then.

patience

read manual

watch many youtubes except from the verge

no brute force and not breaking anything

get someone build with you

dont put all effort in cable managment

some steps actually require quite a bit of force, scary sometimes

the verge took the build video down after a bunch of actual tech yotubers told them everything they did wrong.
