How much will my computer cost to run 24/7?!

Vypa

The parts takes about 450w on a 600w power supply, I live in England (Oxford)

I've been looking around but have no idea how to work this out, if anyone can answer this that would be amazing!

But yeah, just want to figure this out.

Also does running hardware 24/7 damage it in anyway (say if the fans are at about 65-85%)

Sorry for the some what nooby question!

(if you need any further information just ask!)

-Thanks!

Edit: Oh yeah, how much 24/7 a month! ty

Soo many games, not enough money to get any.

What are you asking? How much the power for the computer will cost if you run it for 24/7 or how often a component will die?

So you pay for power in kWh, 1000W for 1 h = 1 kWh.

450W/1000W = 0,45 kWh per h. 30 days in a month, 24h is 1 day: 0,45*24*30 = 324 kWh per month.

324 kWh * what you pay for 1 kWh = the cost of running it for 1 month.
