Budget (including currency): looking for some help on whats the best settings for my overclocking capabilities

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: simulation games. Minecraft. Strategy games

so you own this rig and want to know how far you can OC it?

 

Just watch any video on how to OC and do that until you cant anymore then dial it back and find a stable clock.

If you have any specific questions along the way im sure we can help.

 

that cooler might be fine but id go for a bigger rad if you can bigger is better :P

I had an 8600k which is basically the same cpu.

It ran at 5.0 GHz 1.325 V all day long under the BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4.

Never got above 70°C under synthetic workloads.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
