So I have a ryzen 5 3600, with an x570+ motherboard, and an rtx2060 super. My ram is corsair vengeance ddr4 3600mhz, but my pc won't allow me to run it at 3600mhz. I tried setting it to both 3400mhz and 3600mhz, both times it booted into safe mode. Any suggestions as to how to get my ram to run at higher mhz? I currently set it to run at 3000mhz and that seems to work fine.

Are you setting DOSCP/XMP? Or are you manually telling the RAM to be 3600 or 3400?

Originally I set it manually at 3600mhz, but all that caused was for my pc to boot into safe mode. Same thing happened when I tried setting it at 3400mhz. I set it at 3000mhz, and that seems to work fine. I haven't attempted to enable DOCP. Mostly do to not being too sure of what I'm doing lol I'm not too tech savvy...
