Ram Usage

Hey im new on this forum but hopefully i can get some help with my issue. I've noticed that my ram usage has been very high at idle and don't really know what the problem is.The usage would usually be around 46% and 7 out of 16 gigs would be in use. I know that chrome is using some taking most of the ram but it shouldn't be at 46% usage or 7 gigs would be in use. I also dont have much in startup and i've even disabled some programs but that doesn't seem to help. So if anyone could help me out with this, i would appreciate it a lot.

Laptop im using: Acer Helios 300 (2020 version)

Specs

-CPU: Core i7-9750h

-GPU: Nvidia GTX1660ti

-RAM: 16gb at 2666 mhz

-1tb hdd

You have 16 tabs in Chrome open and one (or more) is using VERY HIGH power usage.  What are the tabs?

Looks like even with Windows, Discord, Steam, Avast, etc... you'd be much lower so it really points to Chrome.

Its weird how its showing i have 16 tabs opened since i only had 2 or 3 tabs opened but even then if i dont have chrome opened it would still be above the 40% usage.

Discord and steam aren't even opened

Discord and steam aren't even opened

Discord and Steam are open and minimized in the system tray.

 

Maybe not 16 tabs then, but 16 processes.  Click the arrow to the left, it will show the processes and their respective uses.
