Hello,

So I currently have a 512GB 960 PRO as my WIN10/Boot drive and a 6tb Seagate Exos as my storage/game drive.

If I have a spare 1TB QVO can I insert that in the middle to use as a cache drive for the 6TB HDD? If so, what software/program can I use to make this happen?

Thanks,

You can do caching or tiering. With that setup you might want tiering, which you can set up with Storage Spaces on Windows 10. You'll still benefit from the SSD's fast read speeds (esp. random) and smaller incoming writes will also be cached by the SSD (you can change the size via PowerShell when setting up the volume).
