Help please

I have managed to smash the screen on my Samsung galaxy s8 when I try to power the phone on there is a little bit of light but screen is completely dead . I did not have my phone backed up and there are photos on the phone I need . Is there anyway I can get them back . I tried connecting to my pc but nothing come support cause normally I would need to unlock my phone to allow it .

i've never tried it, but check this out:

 

or get a usb-c to MHL adapter, plug it in a hdmi monitor / tv.
