Hello.
I would like to stream/play 4K movies on my Windows PC.

I’ve tried purchasing 4K content from Youtube, and iTunes. Both are unable to steam directly on Windows (in 4K), unless I have a chrome cast ultra or AppleTV 4K.
I do not own a TV, or speakers, and have no intention in buying either. All sound in my house is played through my AirPods, and I would like to keep it that way.

Looks like the only option I have is to buy an AppleTV 4K, and connect it to my 4K monitor. This supports streaming 4K movies, as well as playing audio through my Airpods.

Before I make my purchase, is there another option to stream/play 4K content directly on my PC?
or a more suitable streaming box that I could buy?

thank you

I would also like to download content rather than own physical copies (so installing a UHD bluray player on my PC is not an option for me)

specs: 2070super, ryzen 3700x, 4K monitor.

Wait a second. Streaming from/to what? I am confused. Are you just trying to watch 4k content directly on the pc? (you say you don't have a TV) What error are you getting exactly? I have w10 and watch 4k all the time with no issue.
