I have two gaming desktops, with the following SSD's

Desktop 1:

Boot Drive: 256GB Samsung 960 Pro NVMe M.2

Storage Drive: 512GB Samsung 850 Pro SATA 2.5"

Desktop 2:

Boot Drive: 512GB Samsung 970 Pro NVMe M.2

Storage Drive: Intel 800GB DC S3700 SATA 2.5"

I want to replace both storage drives with 2+ TB SSD's. Is there a general consensus on the best value SSD's? The performance doesn't need to be great, but I want them to last a while. I am thinking of going with the Samsung 860 QVO 2TB for $250 each or the WD 2TB Red SA500 because of the higher 1.2PB write endurance (vs 760TB of the Samsung)

Any other suggestions? Write endurance isn't really a problem here as I won't be writing a lot, but it seems to me that higher write endurance means a better SSD in general that will last longer

From what I've heard, Crucial P1 is the best budget m.2 and Intel is the best performance.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

once you start to get to the 2TB range, the crappy SSDs start to disappear. The 860 QVO is great for a gaming PC.

The WD Blue also finds itself in a good spot value wise.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
