Budget (including currency): Nearly 1500 dollars

Country: Czech Republic (Central Europe)

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming and Streaming

Hi,

So since the last time I made a list with components I chose and changed some of them I made a deal with my parents. They will give me how much money I want but not an enormous amount of course. So here is the "upgraded" list:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x    (Before: Ryzen 5 3600)

GPU: ASRock Radeon RX 5700 XT Taichi X 8G OC+, 8GB 6GDDR    (Before: MSI Geforce RTX 2060 Gaming X)

Memory: G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB (2x8GG) DDR4 3600 (Same)

Motherboard: ASUS TUF X470- PLUS GAMING   (Before: MSI Tomahawk MAX B450)

HDD + SSD: Seagate BarraCuda 1TB, 3,5" + Crucial Mx500 250GB M.2 (Same)

Power Supply: Corsair CV650 - 650W

Case: Corsair iCUE 220T RGB

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Would this be a good pc for Gaming and Streaming?

I changed GPU because of the price, ASRock is 200$ cheaper and It has really good specs in my opinion. X570 motherboards are really really expensive here. The cheapest I found costs over 200$.

And again, feel free to change something I'll appreciate the help :)

It's a powerful PC, hopefully the motherboard ships with the BIOS updated for third gen ryzen.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I'd take the B450 Tomahawk over the TUF X470-PLUS, and a better PSU.

Other than that it looks fine.

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Peripherals: Leopold FC660C w/ Topre Silent 45g | Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed | HIFIMAN HE400se & iFi ZEN DAC | Audio-Technica AT2020USB+

Display: Gigabyte G34WQC

Have a look at this, you can acutally get much better performance for the price if you dont care for RGB.

(Better GPU and more SSD storage.)

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

It looks really good. But I can't afford 2080. It is so expensive here :/

If you are specifically plan to stream, i would suggest going for a 2080 or a 2070 super if you cant afford a 2080 super. The NVIDIA exclusive NVENC Encoder is taking the hard work off your CPU without much of a performance Penalty.

I'd normally say buy AMD as it is the better value, but specifically for streaming NVIDIA has better value.

Thanks! Do you think motherboard B450 Tomahawk from MSI would be a better option ?

The B450 Tomahawk "Max" is guaranteed to ship with the BIOS for Ryzen 3000 Chips.

Just watch out for the "Max" in the name.

Even if the specs are better ? If so I would buy 2070S

2070 Super, 2080, 2080 Super all are faster GPUs than a RX 5700 XT.

There are only a few exceptions where the 5700XT is faster.
While the NVIDIA ones are more expensive, you have to decide if the (in the case of the 2070 super) marginally, or (in case of 2080, super) much better performance and the NVENC Encoder are worth it.

Okay :) And which GPU would you recommend ? I have only seen MSI 2070 Gaming X Trio and GIGABYTE 2070 SUPER WINDFORCE OC 3X 8G

As the rest of your PC is pretty much decided, look at how much Money you have left and buy the best GPU that fits in your budget.

How much Money do you have left to spend on your GPU alone?

I guess about 750 euros but still don't want to use all of it :/

Well u could choose between These two:

RTX 2070 Super 550 €:

https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/cNGnTW/asus-geforce-rtx-2070-super-8-gb-dual-evo-oc-video-card-dual-rtx2070s-o8g-evo

RTX 2080 Super 740 €:

https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/L9n8TW/asus-geforce-rtx-2080-super-8-gb-dual-evo-oc-video-card-dual-rtx2080s-o8g-evo-v2

Both are the cheapest variant of the GPU that i found to still have a decent cooler and dont sound like a Jet engine under load. From what i know the 2080 super has 15 - 20 % more fps than the 2070 super.

The Prices i see are for Germany, i dont know how they might look for you.

@Stahlmann98 So I talked about it with my brother and decided that I will take RX 5700 for now just because of the price because in comparasion, the Asus 2080 is nearly 2 times the price :( So later if I try to make some money from streams I would make an upgrade. :) But thanks for your assistence I really appreciate it! :)

Glad to help.

I'd still recommend any rtx 2000 or gtx 1600 series card over the AMD ones bacause of the Encoder.

If your budget is more restricted there are other options with a lower price.

But anyway i doubt you will be disappointed with the Performance of your 5700.

Because you're going with a 3700x CPU you can let it do the encoding and it will handle its task well.

I have the Ryzen 7 3700X myself and can speak out of my own experience.

Edited for typos.
