Windows won't load after m2 installation

Hey there

 

I just installed an Intel 660p M.2 SSD onto a MSI B450m pro-vdh board.

System booted all the way to the windows logo where it was showing me the looping animation for a few seconds before it restarted.

 

I changed the boot priorities to my windows SATA SSD and also tried to disable the new SSD in bios but it didn't help. Once I removed it completely I managed to boot back into windows again.

 

Anyone got an idea why?

Some  SATA and M.2 ports are like conjoined twins. Using one disables other.

The SATA with the windows partition seems to be working though, since it boots all the way to the logo?
