suggestions for checking underperforming pc

i want any suggestion for anything i can do to see if my pc is underperforming other than games. for the record i tried heavenbenchmark and cinnebench.

what exactly tells me that its underpeforming. like it just gives me score i need to know what other people with the same specs scored

well, in games people with same specs are getting higher fps even at same clock speeds and all that

Might be why. Different parts of the game are going to get different FPS, if they're harder to render.

my friend using a 1080 ti gets higher fps in rust on the same settings in the same place

I ran this test before and got 3728 i think it was on 4.2ghz on all cores and now i am doing heaven benchmark to compare it to someone on yt

 so apparently this guy who has an i7 9700k got a lower score than i did. i got 2539

Yes, because they're completely different CPUs made my completely different companies.

yoru cpu is very close to 9th gen intel cpus. try to overclock the gpu. but it really seems like your pc isnt underperforming at all. and rtx 2080 super is little better than 1080 ti

i wanna stay on the safe side and avoid Ocing not because it can harm my gpu which it cant just because its a bit of hassle to just stable test and do all that. ill just stick with what i have and when i need to oc i will but thanks for your all help all of you
