fifine microphone not working

i bought the fifine microphone that linus reviewd a while ago (the t669 one bundled with the arm and stuff), it sounds great and all, but after just a couple of days it stopped being recognized by windows as a microphone
i tried uninstalling the drivers and plugging it in another port but it didn't work.
