M.2 SSD does not boot

Go to solution Solved by paddy-stone,

Yeah, it's most likely the forcing shutdown if you've done it a lot... You could attempt a repair, assuming you have a windows boot flash drive, or a repair USB?

I go the SX8200pro on a MSi Mortar max motherboard. The ssd can boot into windows usually but when playing games(gta5), the whole computer may suddenly freezes and a force shutdown on the power button must be done to reboot. I solved the problem several times by facing a dehumidifier to the front panel, since it's pretty humid, but now this method doesn't work well. The Bios can recognize the ssd but when after exiting bios, the screen shows insert boot drive and press any key. Would the M.2 connector not work under humid weather?

forcing shutdown has likely corrupted windows to the point where it can't boot. Also, if you're dealing with such humidity that your PC crashes, you are looking at the possibility for some serious part decay, from corrosion and such.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B
