This is when i'm gaming

I have a Dark Rock Pro 4, should I reseat the cooler? I put it on like I have with every other build so idk what I did wrong if anything. Ive built many PC's in my time but never had this issue.

Is the cooler not good enough for this CPU? or what should I look at to see if I did anything wrong

that cooler beats most of 240mm aios.

try  to reseat the cpu cooler and put new thermalpaste. my 3700x runs much lower with stock cooler

A drp4 should be plenty for a 3700x, try reseating and reapplying thermal paste.

Will do, I have some arctic silver 5 that I used or should I use the stuff that came with it? I don't think it matters but idk.

Should I maybe use more paste this time? I did the pea size like always

The thermal paste shouldn’t matter, the silver 5 should in fact give you better temps I think.

id stick with the pea size and just reseat the cooler, then monitor temps again.

Did you pull off that plastic sticket on the base of the cooler?

And if your coverage is good, no need for more thermal paste
