I got my gaming pc for Christmas.

CPU AMD FX-8320 8 Core Black Edition Processor

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P MotherBoard

RAM Kingston 8GB Kit (2x4G) PC12800 (1600MHz) HyperX KHX1600C9D3B1K2/8GX

GPU XFX Double Dissipation HD 7970 3gb

Case Corsair 200r

Storage 2tb HDD and 120gb Samsung 840 evo ssd

PSU Silver strider 600w

Display(s) 1080p 23" Benq Widescreen Monitor

Cooling Hyper 212 evo

I really enjoy playing arma and dayz standalone but after a bit of research I found out that they are both not heavily optimized for multicore cpu's. So I wanted to upgrade to an Intel processor. I will also need a new motherboard because mine does not support and Intel processor. My budget is around (AU) $500-550. I am also in Australia so It needs to be from an Australian site. Thanks,

Have you overclocked your 8320? You should be able to get some pretty high OCs on an 8320.

I wouldn't upgrade from an 8320 to be honest.

Arma3 and dayz just needs Intel to run fine. OC wont help that much.

I don't always have time to study, but when I do, I don't.
