Fixing a stuck pixel?

Hey, so on my display, one of the pixels is stuck on a pink/purple color. So it clearly isn't dead, but it also doesn't change from this color.

Does anyone know any methods to fix this issue? Thanks ahead of time.

This may sound dumb. But using a fiber cloth and gently massage the place the pixel is stuck in.

Take your time but do not apply to much pressure.

Popular methods to try and fix stuck pixels are “massaging” the area around the pixel or applying pressure to it. 
 

However, many also say that those methods could create more stuck pixels instead of fixing it. 
 

I had a monitor with a green stuck pixel and tried all methods that I found. Never fixed it.

 

In summary, according to what I read around for months and my own experience you can either: fix the problem, worsen it, or nothing will happen.

My personal advice is not to touch it and you will eventually get used to it. Otherwise see if you can still RMA the display.

I’ve used this before and it fixed the one stuck pixel on my old aoc monitor

Hey everyone for the replies. I tried all of these, and sadly they didn't work. Oh well. The pixel is in the corner and doesn't bother me during games.
