What do you play games for?

I tend to play games for fun. Only a few times have I played competitively, and those times were just with friends.

I play games mostly for the joy of being in an amazing virtual world. If it's a single player campaign, I like being immersed into a vast world with great story, excellent writing, voice acting etc. In multiplayer it all depends on the type of game and the game mode I'm playing. Sometimes I'm a team player, other times I'm a lone ranger. Of course I'm also a huge graphics whore and I have deep respect for those great looking games out there. But bad graphics wouldn't stop me from playing a game. Bad aesthetics would. COD Ghosts is a great example of a game with really bad aesthetics.
