Hello guys.I recently bought a rtx 2060 super gigabyte windforce oc and i had a temp issues while in gaming i got about 83 degrees with closed sidepanel of case and 78 open.I done undervolting to 925mv and now its about 68 open window and 76 closed.I saw my memory clock and its 1860mhz.Is my temps safe now and is my core clock ok?I didnt saw any issues in gaming test about 1 hour. Can i damage my gpu with that undervolt?

My system spec:

83 degrees for a GPU is totally normal under load. Anything up to about 90 is totally fine. I would just not worry about it and let it run. Get more case fans to get better airflow in your case.

Cooler is always better, but it also depends on the fan curve. You can set a more aggressive fan curve in MSI Afterburner, and have it run cooler and louder with higher fan speed.

Also: I do not recommend undervolting, because you will possibly harm performance or the system might run less stable. If you want it to run cooler, first handle the airflow in your case and the fan curve. 78-83 degrees is definitely normal and fine to run long term.

Undervolting can never cause permanent damage. Just revert the settings back to normal if it doesn't run stable.

Good luck!

Tnx.My case have 3 front,2 up, 1 back and 2 on cpu cooler fans.I had enable fan to run 100% when it reaches 65 degrees but nothing helped. My system is perfectly stable now i tested about 2h of gaming and no issues.

MSI Afterburner will tell you at what temperature your GPU will throttle.

Hear is what it looks like.

If the power limit is raised the max temp will rise as well.
